The National Inspection
Council for Electrical Installation Contracting is a non-profit
making organisation set up to protect electricity users against
the hazards of unsafe and unsound electrical installations.
The NICEIC is supported by all sectors of the electrical industry,
approvals and research bodies, consumer interest organisations,
the electricity supply industry, professional institutes and
institutions, regulatory bodies, other professional bodies,
trade and industry associations and federations, trade unions
and local and central government.
The
NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry's independent
voluntary regulatory body for electrical safety matters.
